Gotska Sandön 7 June 2007 - In search of the Blue Rock Thrush.
On 6 June 2007 a Blue Rock Thrush was found in the Lighthouse Village by C-G Elinder. The same evening the bird was seen well by all birders on the island of which there were seven.
The day afterwards some thirty birders went out with the ship M/S Gotska Sandön which had been chartered for the day, thanks to the shipowner Gustaf Myrsten. We did our best but unfortunatelly the bird was not rediscovered.
