Birds on Gotska Sandön

Gotska Sandön 21 to 24 May 1999.

Participants

The spring 1999

Mild winds had made most birches fully leaf-covered. Aspen trees burst into leaf during our stay and also a few oak trees. Bird's Eye Primroses were in full bloom at Bredsandsudde, and at Hamnudden Meadow Saxifrage and Silver Cinquefoil were blooming on the meadow remnants near the ruins of the old lighthouse.
