Welcome have a loook at these pages, focused on a list of birds seen on the island Gotska Sandön.
Recently
David Lundgren visited the island on 23-30 October 2008. The highlights were few but, as David writes, it is always a pleasure to visit the island and certainly when few other birders are present. In my opinion his photos bring us much of the charm of Gotska Sandön and it is a pleasure for me to present them here.

The Swedish Rarities Committee has approved for publication the reports of three rarities seen on Gotska Sandön in early summer 2007. The birds concerned are a Booted Warbler and a Paddyfield Warbler on 2 June 2007 as well as a Blue Rock Thrush on 6 June 2007. I have updated the species list according to these decisions.
